A Day At The Beach

I recently had the opportunity to spend a day at the beach.  It was a bit overwhelming at first because I love love love the ocean and I just wanted to take pictures of everything.  To encapsulate those smells and sounds that represent the vast expanse of sea.  So I just sat for a while taking it all in.  Then I began to walk and focus on the details so that I could bring at least a bit of the shore back with me.

This session just blew me away.  This stunning mama is due this summer.  We had so much fun working it.  I love all the color we found.  And mom was so serenely beautiful.  I can't wait to meet her little man!

Doolittle Family

I had some professional head shots made a few months ago (That reminds me that I need to post some of those here) by a friend of mine--Keri Doolittle.  I was so very happy with the way they turned out.  Keri did an excellent job making me feel comfortable in front of the camera.  The portraits she made of me actually looked like me.   But not the first-thing-in-the-morning-no-shower-no-sleep version of me, the super awesome, yes-I-can-still-bring-it-and-be-a-mom-of-two version.  In addition to portraits, Keri is also a super awesome wedding photographer.  She's wicked talented and very down to earth so you know you'll be in good hands.

So as a thank you to her I went over to her house the other day to make some portraits of her two kiddos.  It's a bit nerve wracking to photograph for another photographer, but I think they turned out well if I do say so myself =)

It is so clear how much Keri loves her little men.  Watching her interact with R and hold little baby E was very special to witness.  Thanks Keri for the inspiration.

Gorgeous Family

I had a great time with the B family this weekend.  They came up to Anthem and we just played in the park.  They were so nice and we had a great time.  Can't you just tell how much these kids are loved?  Lucky for me, these images are also from a session in preparation for my new local display.  Stay tuned for more details =).

Serious cuteness!

Meet little man "L."  This guy was so fast!  We definitely had fun crawling in the grass.  He is such a happy little man.  Look at those big smiles!  It was so nice to meet him and his Momma.  His grandpa works at Hall of Frames in Happy Valley has been a huge help to me as I've been growing my business.  It was quite an honor to return the favor and to meet this special young man.
